The Xojo Developer Conference just sold out, here’s how you can still join in…

Last week the 2018 Xojo Developer Conference sold out! We are very excited about the enthusiasm for this event, and for it being held in Denver. We received the most early registrations we have ever had for XDC, the final list includes attendees traveling from 12 countries. Registration for this year is higher than that of 2015 and 2016, and there is already a growing waiting list! You can be added to the waiting list here.

Even if you aren’t able to join us in Denver for XDC this year, there are still some ways you can stay in touch with attendees, hear major Xojo announcements and leverage the content from the conference.

Love it or Hate it, Networking is Necessary

Xojo and Community Growth in 2017

2017 has been a good year for Xojo! We hit some bumps but we’re ending the year with the much-awaited Xojo 64-bit IDE released in Xojo 2017r3.
Though we didn’t have a XDC in 2017, we’re gearing up for XDC 2018 in Denver in April. This is the longest between conferences in many years and we’re seeing an increase in early registrations. If you are planning on attending, please register soon. We have sold out before!

Auto-Launch Raspberry Pi Apps

For XDC 2016 I needed a way to demonstrate a Raspberry Pi app that used the GPIO and updated an LCD character display. But I didn’t really have access to a screen that I could use to show the desktop so that I could run the app. And I could not remotely connect to the Pi because I did not have a good way to get it on the wifi network in the first place.
